Bluebell North West were awarded the refurbishment of the Stockport waste water treatment plant building, bringing the facility up to current standards to serve as grounds maintenance storage and office space for United Utilities staff.
Project Overview
Bluebell North West refurbished the existing WwTP building at Stockport to meet current building standards and provide practical, durable accommodation for on‑site teams. The upgraded facility supports grounds maintenance storage and office space for day‑to‑day operations.
The programme was delivered over 10 weeks under a £380k contract, combining envelope repairs, internal reconfiguration, and new finishes & services.
Scope of Works
- Roofing works, including repairs and weathering improvements.
- Carpet and vinyl flooring throughout designated areas.
- Internal & external re‑pointing to restore fabric integrity.
- Complete electrical re‑wire to current standards.
- Full decorations and making‑good.
- Design, supply & fit new external staircase.
- Design, supply & install new internal staircases.
- External brickwork repairs and external cladding.
- External painting and replacement of gutters & downspouts.
- Installation of new suspended ceilings.
- Fire‑proofing works across designated areas.
