Haslingden Housing Development
We are currently in the process of developing the site of a former police station in Haslingden into a number of brand new homes. This is a project we have been looking to start for some time but due to the COVID-19 pandemic our progress has been held up and halted.
The old Haslingden Police Station, on Manchester Road was closed due to cost-cutting measures and then was subsequently demolished and plans were submitted and passed to replace it with these new properties.
At the time of closure, the mayor of Rossendale Coun Granville Morris, who is a Haslingden councillor, said he would have preferred the police station to have remained open there in the first place, but was pleased to see proposals to use the site for a positive purpose.
He said: “We’ve lost a very important part of the fabric of the community not having a police station, but it’s better something goes on than it being left to go to wrack and ruin.
Bluebell MD Sam Whitehead said “This is an exciting project for Bluebell North West and once again allows us to showcase our abilities and complete construction services. The eight 3 bedroomed properties will be finished in natural stone and Our team will be providing a complete turnkey solution including groundwork, drainage, all services including joinery, plumbing and electrical work as well as a car park and the complete landscaping of the site.
More detailed sales information will be available at a further date but keep an eye on our website and social media channels for regular project updates.
